Devices and permissions

Devices, camera and forms​

In Devices you will see the devices or flows available for your account.

Depending on the configuration, the app may open:

  • the phone camera to capture a reading
  • a form with sequential questions
  • other buttons or specific flows associated with the device

When a reading is taken via photograph, also follow the recommendations in captura-imagenes.

Device permissions​

The first time you use certain features, the system may request permission.

Camera​

  • On iPhone or iPad: Settings > Doctomatic > Camera
  • On Android: Settings > Apps > Doctomatic > Permissions > Camera

Notifications​

  • On iPhone or iPad: Settings > Notifications > Doctomatic
  • On Android: manage the permission from the app details or from the system notification settings

If you deny a permission by mistake, you can re-enable it from the device settings.

Recommendations​

  • Check device permissions if a feature does not open correctly.
  • Verify before submitting a reading that the image or data is correct.
  • If the device does not appear, contact the care or support channel available.
